Has your marketing strategy changed? Are you spending more time and/or money on online activites? Pay Per Click? Adsense? Blogging? Website Update?
If you are - what are your results? Your Return on Investment? Are you tracking your statistics? Do you know where most of your business is coming from?
If you do not track - how do you know where to spend your money? Even the relatively (in comparison to regular print and TV Ads) Internet, will become expensive quickly, if you do no…

Considering we're all from the Springs - I've figured I'd ask a more personal question: What's your favorite place in the Springs? For Business or personal Meetings?
Feel free to share - maybe we can pick up some additional ideas of great places to use...
I know my personal list would have to look something like the following:
For Business meetings that don't require an office setting - Pikes Perk, Serranos or Starbucks. Internet and coffee - hard to beat.
For pers…

Should you be online? Probably a strange question, considering all the hoopla about social networking sites, twittering, podcasting, and all the other available options. However - it's a valid question.
In order to answer it you have to know where your clients are coming from (word of mouth, advertising in the newspaper, referrals, online leads), what are they looking for (information, products, services) and are they ready to interact with you online?
Just like with your brick-…

If you're using LinkedIn - or plan on using it - check out the little "widget" in the left hand bottom corner on the Main Page, titled "My LinkedIn Profile". Through LinkedInABox - you're now able to transport/add your LinkedIn Profile with all information condensed to your website, blog etc.
Thought you might want to check it out! It's a great little promotional tool.

Between all the terms you hear floating around, from social networking to media, speed networking and more - are you confused yet as to what the differences are?
In my opinion they are minor! It all boils down to good old fashioned interaction with others. Whether you are online, using one of the "new" social networking sites or at a business meeting, at Dinner or out shopping - you are "networking" - whether you are doing it consciously or not.
Any time you meet people - you ar…

It's the end of the year, and as mentioned earlier - the perfect time to review, plan and make changes. So my question to you is this:
What are the biggest changes you are planning for your business and/or life?
Are you changing your marketing? Your Client Follow Up? Are you planning on taking classes? Getting a designation? Expanding or adding a website? Starting a new hobby?
I know that with our family, changes seem to be an almost daily thing.... From…

You're a member of Colorado Springs Connected, you might have a website, maybe even a blog! Is that enough in todays market? Or are you relying on print advertising only? Or maybe you have all the business you can handle? If that's the case - read no further!
If you'd like to expand your 'reach' more - check out some of the 'other' social sites, like facebook, plaxo, LinkedIn,…

Are you ready for the New Year? Is your business plan udpated, created, revised? Or is it still waiting to be put down on paper? How will your business grow this coming year? Will you advertise? Market? Expand your Net Presence? Seek new clients? Or are you happy with the number of clients you have?
What are your Goals for the coming year? Did you write them down? (A goal not written down is not a goal - it's a dream.)
No time better than the current, right after the holidays, w…

Should you add your picture to your page? Or shouldn't you? Will it improve your chances of connecting to others? Or will it leave you vulnerable to "Stalkers"? I think most of us are comfortable sharing a picture - considering that networking online is becoming more and more prevalent. However - if that's not something that appeals to you - you have options!
1. Instead of a picture of yourself - upload your favorite photo.
2. Upload your business logo…

So we all have our "pet charities" - the one's that are near and dear to us. Considering the Season, and thinking that people really do want to help out - I thought I'd share one of my favorite Non-Profit Organizations here in Colorado Springs - Christmas Unlimited.
What do they do? They help bring Christmas to families who might otherwise not be able to celebrate. And yes, while we as adults know that Christmas isn't about the number of gif…

As a business owner - regardless if it's a small, mid-size or large business - you will face issues, circumstances, triumphs and maybe some defeats. However - in most cases, having a group - a mastermind group if you will - to share your thoughts with, bounce ideas of each other and learn how other's dealt with situations, comes in pretty handy.
So - considering - that everyone here has a "build in" audience of business owners etc - why not use this as a mastermind group? Feel free to…
