Colorado Springs And Taxes - What’s Your Opinion?

After the last post about a potential tax increase, I started reading more about this whole topic, and considering replies from Gazette readers, this is a very divided issue. People are either for tax increases, saying that we need them in order to fund services, not only to prevent loosing more programs, but to make up [...]

In it, the county proposes to increase our sales tax rate by 1% in order to make up for lost services and revenues and to stop cutting available services. This would bring our sales tax from 7.4% to 8.4% - the example given in [...]

What's your connection to Colorado Springs?
Business, Private, Networker, Small Business Owner, Citizen
About Me:
My name is Sabine Pyrchalla, and I’ve lived in Colorado Springs for over ten years. Over the course of my Business career, I’ve worked in a variety of fields, from Photography and Insurances to Mortgages, Residential and Investment Real Estate, all with an emphasis on building business through referrals, based on client relationships, achieved through outstanding service and by being on the forefront of Internet Use and Efforts.

Why these changes in careers? Because our life changed, due to frequent moves, based on “being attached” to the Military. So rather than fight against changing circumstances, I embraced them and made them work.

Over time, I realized that, as much as I enjoyed my different careers, I was happiest while trying to help others achieve their dreams and be successful. That is where consulting came into play. I’ve walked in the shoes of new business owners and I know that the beginning, while exciting, can be equally difficult and expensive.

In order to get your business successfully off the ground, or improve your current business, I offer individual and group coaching services, as well as classes, to develop a cohesive marketing and networking plan, based on your business, your needs, your finances and your goals.

If you are interested, have questions, think you could achieve more in your business, don’t quite know how to get started successfully without wasting your marketing dollar, please contact me. Thank you.

Are you a new business owner? Ready to go out in the world to leave your mark? Or are you already established, but interested in becoming more of a presence on the Internet? But where should you start?

Advertise in the Newspaper? Rent a Billboard? Do Radio Ads? Have a commercial on TV? Send Direct Mail? Randomly pick names out of the phone book and make calls? No! Unless you have a rather large budget to keep these efforts going, you will not see much return on investment. Does that mean you shouldn’t spend any money? No! But you’ll be more selective, define your goals and start building the basis for a stable business.

How can I help you achieve your goals? I coach Business Owners and their employees to help them integrate their offline and online marketing efforts, start an online conversation with their customers, build an Internet presence, and create customer loyalty and relationships by implementing a cohesive blogging and networking plan!

Contact me now to get started on the road to Blogging and Networking Mastery.

What can you expect from me?

• An initial consultation to discuss your goals and define the outcome you’d like to achieve
• A customized plan to fit your needs, time, abilities and finances
• Ongoing coaching and support until your objectives are achieved
• Follow up for updates and questions

Success Or Failure? It's Up To You.

I've written about this before - that you should have a plan and goals if you're attending a business expo as a vendor. Figure out prior to the Expo who you'd like to meet, how many connections you'd like to make, and - most importantly -what your follow up should be. I've been to another expo this past week, and while there were some new vendors, not much of the 'behavior' has changed. Vendors offering free stuff, business cards and drawings. But it's been 4 days and so far - no follow up. I… Continue

Group Meeting - Face to Face

Hi Everyone! Thanks for your continued interest in this group. I'm looking forward to growing it with you. Regarding the decision to meet face to face for networking, and possible training purposes - please let me know - what works for you? We have an offer from Alex - Thank you! - to meet at his office for maybe a brown bag lunch? Would that work for everyone? How about on a Wednesday for lunch? If that does not work for you - please give us a couple of options to work with! Also - aside f… Continue

Thanks! You too!

Any movement toward a face to face meeting of this group? The I/O is now open and the large conference room can hold 20 with ease.

Let me know!

Happy Easter to you! I plan to use this time to get into my graditude mode, and reflect on all the people and things that I am so very blessed to have in my life. There are many. Being able to sit in my nice comfy chair, infront of my fancy computer able to communicate freely with anyone I want to...about my freedoms...what a great country. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter Sunday.

Good idea. How do I actually "publish" the article?

Good Morning! Looks like March 1st now. The furniture is delayed until Feb. 25th and the technology goes in directly after that. With no advertising, we already have business owners touring the space and signing up for dedicated office space as well as the Remote Receptionist. Word of mouth has gotten out that this new space is opening and we are drawing people in from other facilities and/or their home offices. Word of month before opening is a glorius thing!

How have you been doing?

I love the concept Sabine. I believe that this will be a great tool to share ideas, and request feedback from the group. Thank you for the info on the networking groups...I found that to be very helpful. Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of this!

Thanks Sabine! I am happy to be on board. As far as the site and it's appearance, I think it looks just fine. I don't know what I would change. As far as "groups" at this point I don't have anything but will let you know if I come up with something. :-)
